Help Shape
Future Adventures

Many people have asked how they can support Live in da Dream beyond watching videos or becoming a channel member.  This page contains the tools, software, and equipment that directly improve the quality of the documentaries and adventures you see on the channel.

Nothing here is expected but every

contribution helps tell better stories.

Every contribution, big or small, helps improve the quality of future adventures. Whether it's licensed music, additional storage, or filming equipment, each item on this page directly supports the creation of new documentaries and stories. Thank you for being part of the journey.

Current Priority

Goal: $299/year

Music is one of the most important parts of storytelling. Every documentary, adventure, and emotional moment is shaped by the music underneath it. A licensed music and sound effects library allows me to focus on creating the best possible stories without worrying about copyright claims or losing future monetization opportunities.

Production Tools

The right tools help turn adventures into stories. These are the pieces of equipment that allow me to capture better footage, record higher-quality audio, and create more cinematic documentaries from the road.

DJI Mic Mini.JPG

Product: DJI Mic Mini (2 TX + 1 RX + Charging Case)          Price: ~ $115

Audio is one of the most important parts of storytelling. While cameras and footage capture what an adventure looks like, quality audio captures the emotion behind it. A wireless microphone system would allow me to create clearer interviews, better conversations, and more immersive moments during future adventures and documentaries.

sd card.JPG

Product: SD Cards          Price: ~ $20+

Every adventure creates more footage. Between my GoPros, DJI drone, and phone, I rely on multiple memory cards to capture the moments that become future videos. Having additional high-quality SD cards ensures I always have reliable storage available and never have to miss an opportunity because a card is full, lost, or unavailable.

Compatible Cards: I primarily use microSD cards for my GoPro Hero 8, GoPro Hero 12, and DJI Mini 4 Pro drone. Recommended cards should be high-speed UHS-I cards with a V30 rating or higher to reliably handle 4K video recording. Capacities of 64GB, 128GB, or larger are all useful depending on the adventure.

clutch.JPG

Product: Clutch Portable Chargers         Price: ~ $50+ (for one) (two ideal)

Living on the road means many adventures happen away from traditional power sources. Portable battery packs help keep my phone, cameras, and other equipment powered while filming, exploring, and capturing moments throughout the day. Having reliable backup power ensures I can continue creating content even when an adventure takes me far from my camper.

Compatible Device: I use an Android Samsung Galaxy S25+ and would need a USB-C compatible battery pack (not the iPhone/MagSafe version). I have relied on this brand of portable battery pack for years while traveling, especially during long filming days, hikes, events, and overnight timelapses. My current battery pack has traveled with me through countless adventures but is starting to show their age. Having a couple of newer, reliable replacements would help ensure I always have the power needed to keep filming and documenting future adventures.

tripod.JPG

Product: Victiv Tripod        Price: ~ $35+

Creating videos alone often means finding creative ways to capture moments without another person behind the camera. A reliable tripod allows me to set up shots, record talking segments, capture cinematic scenes, and tell stories from perspectives that are difficult to achieve while filming handheld. After years of traveling, my previous tripods have been lost or broken, and having a dependable one again would help me continue creating more intentional and cinematic adventures.

Adventure Tools

Every adventure begins long before the camera starts rolling. These tools help me travel farther, explore more places, and continue sharing the experiences that become future documentaries and stories.

Product: E-Bike        Price: ~ $1000

My e-bike has become an important part of life on the road. It allows me to commute to workcamping jobs without moving my camper, explore nearby communities and trails, and reach locations that would otherwise be difficult to access. It also plays a key role in my annual rides supporting childhood cancer research, making it more than just transportation, it's part of both my adventures and my mission to give back.

Whether I'm filming scenic rides, exploring a new destination, or taking part in fundraising challenges, this bike helps create the experiences that become stories on the channel.

Future Dreams

Every journey begins with a dream. While the items above directly support the adventures and documentaries I'm creating today, the goals below represent where I hope to take the channel in the future. As Live in da Dream continues to grow, these are the tools and projects that will help tell even bigger stories.

Product: Mobile Editing Studio

While my current desktop computer has served me well, living a nomadic lifestyle means I'm constantly packing up and setting it back up whenever I move. A powerful laptop would allow me to edit documentaries, upload videos, manage the channel, and even livestream from virtually anywhere without needing a permanent workstation. It would provide the flexibility to create content no matter where the next adventure leads.

Product: Dedicated Camera System

My phone and drone have captured countless memories and continue to serve me well. Looking ahead, I'd love to add a dedicated camera system to expand both my photography and filmmaking. A mirrorless camera would provide greater creative flexibility, improve low-light performance, and open new possibilities for documenting landscapes, wildlife, and the incredible places I explore.

Product: Portable Mobile Internet System

One of my long-term dreams is to build a fully portable mobile internet system that allows me to livestream, upload content, and stay connected even while hiking or exploring remote locations. By combining portable power, reliable internet, and a lightweight carrying solution, this setup would make it possible to share adventures in real time from places where traditional connectivity isn't available.

Mailing Information

If you'd like to send one of these items directly instead of contributing toward a goal, I'd be incredibly grateful. Because I travel full-time, my mailing location may change throughout the year. Please contact me before placing an order so I can provide the best shipping address and ensure I'm able to receive your package.

Whether you choose to contribute, purchase an item, become a channel member, or simply watch and share the videos, thank you. Your encouragement and support make it possible for me to continue exploring, documenting, and sharing adventures from the road. I'm truly grateful to have you along for the journey.
